I was just experimenting again, I hate what I see. I want to make a good title but it turns out either over the top flashy or taccy like this. Aaaaarrrrrrrr.

This looks better than the logo for your game. re-make that logo in this style. Put a subtle pattern in the background (maybe an extremely dark blue cityscape or something) and remake the title with simple letters and the slightest touch of artistic flair.
Think of Half-Life and Portal. the logos are simple white text with a lambda symbol replacing the A in Half-Life, and a portal replacing the O in Portal. Simple design, but because of teh tiniest artistic touch, they become unique logos.
